Mari-Simon "Maris" Cronje

Age: 11 years old
Mari-Simon was attending a child's birthday party and was part of a group riding the inflatable on a lake at the site.
Mari-Simon was thrown off the banana boat as the tow boat took a sharp turn. After she was thrown into the ocean, she was caught up in the propellers. She was then ran over by a speed boat which caused her death.
The water sports centre has pleaded guilty to corporate manslaughter after Mari-Simon passed away.
