Margaret "Maggie" Elizabeth Schlosser

Age: 10 months old

On November 22 2004, Maggie is playing with her toys while her mother, Dena, is listening to Christian hymns. Dena then decided the sacrifice herself and Maggie to God. She went into the kitchen, decided on the biggest knife, and came back into the living room. She picked little Maggie up and began cutting her arms off with the knife.

Dena then began to cut her own arms and legs but only managed a deep wound in her shoulder. Meanwhile, Dena's husbrand and Maggie's father rung the daycare and asked them to check on Dena and Maggie. Workers from the daycare called 911 after talking with Dena's husband. The police called Dena and she answered. The operator asked if there was a emergency she said there was and admitted to chopping her baby's arms off. 

Police rushed to Dena's house where they found Dena clutching a knife which was covered in blood. The police then found Maggie lying in her blood soaked crib, her arms are missing from the shoulder down. Maggie was then rushed to hospital. She passed away soon after arriving at the hospital. She died due to blood loss. 

Dena Schlosser was found not guilty by reason of insanity and was sent to a Texas hospital.
